Social Ministry

Led by volunteer members, we participate in a number of service events throughout the year including collections for Lutheran Family Services, stocking a congregational food bank, and various other projects. Upcoming opportunities will be posted on our Events page.

Youth Group Service Events

Our youth recently worked with Walking Angels, an organization founded by one of our members, to provide warm meals to those in need in downtown Denver. From preparing the food, packaging it, and handing it out with a smile, they enjoyed sharing this gift of a warm meal and kind words. Check out our next event here! Also join us in April to help our elderly neighbor’s with yard work.

Our 65th Anniversary Project

For the congregation’s 65th anniversary, we led a year-long campaign to raise money for the Concordia Seminary St. Louis food bank.  Our pastor and his family know the great benefits of this ministry firsthand from their time at seminary and we were happy to raise money to help current seminarians and their families.

Women’s Groups

The women in our congregation serve the community in various way. We have a wonderful quilting group who makes cozy blankets. Several of our members are actively involved in the LWML, and lead projects like gathering layettes for newborns and school supply drives.
